I'm a Durham native with over 30 years of nursing experience, receiving a BSN degree from North Carolina Central University. I have a family background of health and service careers (daughter-RN, son-youth minister, grandmother-former RN). My nursing journey at Duke Health began in 2001, when I began gaining experience and caring for diverse populations with various health needs in clinical settings of women's health, primary care, patient navigation, and community health. My purpose and passion in life and career are fulfilled daily by volunteering, exercising, music, nature, spending time with family, and serving and providing nursing care in the communities where raised and educated. I am very thankful for the opportunity to join the DukeWELL team.
