I began my career in health care in behavioral health as a patient care technician and later a team leader for a virtual monitoring telehealth team at the Medical University of South Carolina. After receiving my nursing degree, I worked as an RN level IV NICU for several years, before becoming a critical care float pool nurse. In addition to serving the float pool, I also served the Institute of Psychiatry and the psychiatric ED and pediatric ED and have also worked in outpatient population health as an RN on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team caring for patients with serious mental illness in Wake county. I am passionate about connecting patients with resources that can lead to better health outcomes and an improved quality of life.
