Sara Miller

I have spent six years at Duke Health as a bedside nurse serving over twenty units at all three hospitals. Providing care for patients and their families during such a stressful time is what led me to this care manager position with DukeWELL. I want to empower people to better manage their health at home to try and avoid such difficult times.

Melody Kinnell

I'm a Durham native with over 30 years of nursing experience, receiving a BSN degree from North Carolina Central University. I have a family background of health and service careers (daughter-RN, son-youth minister, grandmother-former RN). My nursing journey at Duke Health began in 2001, when I began gaining experience and caring for diverse populations with various health needs in clinical settings of women's health, primary care, patient navigation, and community health.

Crystal Bennett

I have over eighteen years of nursing experience, including nine years in case management within acute care, particularly in trauma and cardiovascular thoracic surgery. My background also includes work in orthopedics, long-term care, ICU, and academia. However, I have found care management to be the most rewarding role in my career.

Angela Pope

I am a registered nurse with over 35 years of experience. I have worked in the following areas: acute hospital care, case management, managed care, and travel nursing. I’m passionate about the work I do and the impact I have on the patients I meet. It brings me great satisfaction to know I can make lives better by working as a DukeWELL care manager in this great community.

Sherri Harris

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a background in mental health. More recently, I’ve worked in medical case management and supported patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs at an area hospital. Throughout my career, I’ve valued the connections I’ve made with patients and families. In my role with DukeWELL, I’m excited to be a part of supporting positive health outcomes by connecting patients to follow-up care and resources.

Mary Hogan

I have been a nurse for 25 years and have worked in medical, surgical, oncology, emergency, geriatric, and behavioral health. Also, I have been a nurse educator for ten years. I enjoy delivering holistic care to assist my patients find the best health possible. This is fulfilling and rewarding work.

Danielle Ferebee

I am a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience providing therapy and care management services to individuals, families, and communities. My background includes addressing mental health and substance-use challenges, as well as supporting clients in navigating complex psychosocial needs. I am passionate about empowering others to achieve their personal goals and fostering resilience through compassionate, client-centered care.

Sherry Young

I have been a nurse for over twenty years and love helping patients achieve their best health! Being able to work with patients during a stressful time allows me to build a relationship of trust and understanding. We all want what’s best for each other, and sharing my knowledge is a privilege.

Ta’Jhaneya "Neya" Hines

I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have been providing support to youth and their families within the community for the last four years. I have the pleasure of engaging in family and individual therapy for all ages. I have enjoyed collaborating with individuals and families by advocating for them in schools, home placements, and other settings. As a care manager, I look forward to providing my best effort to provide assistance.

Mariah Henley

My experience as a registered nurse has included ortho/trauma, inpatient rehab, and primary care at the Cleveland Clinic, UNC, and Duke Health systems. I have had the good fortune to have worked with some of the best and brightest in the nursing field with each experience adding to my skill and competence. I am always eager to learn new things in all areas of my life. My nursing power lies in my core values of patient advocacy, engagement, education, and respect.
