I am a licensed clinical social worker with ten years of experience across healthcare, school-based, and mental health settings. Originally from rural North Carolina, I earned both a BSW and MSW from North Carolina Central University and am currently pursuing a PhD with research focused on stress among school-based social workers. Having served the Durham community for a decade in a variety of roles, I am passionate about helping individuals and families access essential resources and achieve overall wellness, drawing on experience in hospital social work, local government, clinical assessments, therapy, and school-based services. As a solution-focused clinician, I believe in meeting individuals and families where they are, helping clients process their experiences while also empowering them to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. Outside of work, I am a passionate home chef who enjoys creating delicious meals and bringing people together around the table, as well as spending time with my husband, daughter, and ShiChi. I am committed to advancing care and making a meaningful difference at Duke.
