Danita Walker

I have a management background in health insurance and as a government contractor. I received a degree in Health Science in 2014. I am currently studying for Healthcare Administration. I owned and managed a group home for Intellectual Disabled adults with critical needs for over 10 years. I have always had a strong desire to assist people with their needs in everyday life. Working as an associate in PHMO allows me to continue bridging the gap for patients by providing the resources necessary to fulfill their healthcare needs and essentials.

I have been in customer service for eight years. I feel good giving people the best version of myself and helping in whatever I can. I pride myself in being personable with rich qualities of loyalty and trustworthiness. I like being in a workplace where I will continue to help others and do something I absolutely love: using both of my languages!

I have 15 years with Duke. My passions are customer service—being that voice for individuals who do not know where to begin for help—helping our communities and employees to be enlightened with resources that will help with mind, body, and soul.

I have 21 years of experience working in the medical field, which includes oncology, primary care, and radiology. I have been with Duke Health for the past 7 years. I enjoy helping others, so working with PHMO will allow me to bridge the gap to help patients maintain healthy and safe lifestyles.

Heather Mosley

I started my career at Duke in December 2017 as a patient service associate at the Duke Eye Center. Then in 2020, I became a financial care counselor, where I assisted patients with their financial benefits. I worked closely with insurance companies and our providers. I enjoy helping people in anything I do. I look forward to assisting our patients here at PHMO.
