Rebecca Kaplan

I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Salem State University in 2018. I have over four years of experience in human services, specifically with individuals experiencing homelessness with co-occurring substance use disorder and psychiatric illnesses. I have been trained in the successful completion of social security/disability applications and look forward to supporting patients with this challenging process. I recently relocated to North Carolina from Massachusetts, and I am excited to join the DukeWELL team!

Tamika Littlejohn

I worked ten years in the school system before completing my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work. The vast part of my social work experience comes from the field of child welfare (with a focus in families and children) with Durham County Department of Social Services for over six years as an In-Home Service and Foster Care social work case manager. I later transitioned to social work and medical case management via Duke University Hospital.

JaCobe Douglas

I am a Certified Case Management professional with an MSW and multiple years of experience in the coordination of healthcare services and the continuity of care for diverse and vulnerable populations. Although social work can be challenging at times, it is also one of the greatest rewarding professions, offering opportunities to assist individuals and make a difference in their lives. I am enthusiastic to now be a member of this remarkable team at DukeWELL.

Tiffany Carson

I decided to become a social worker so I can be a part of the solution to so many problems in our country. Previously, I worked in foster care and adoptions and transitioned to education. After COVID, the increase in mental health concerns that I saw on the news reignited my passion to help others. By joining DukeWELL, I will have the opportunity to support the people that are in my community to have a better quality of life. Let’s work!

Aminah Weeks

Raised in Elizabeth City, NC, I received my BS in Criminal Justice in 2015 from Elizabeth City State University and my MS in Criminal Justice in 2018 from North Carolina Central University. Prior to joining Duke Health, I was an assessment/intake specialist at a mental health facility for court-involved youth. I enjoy the work that I do, because it positively impacts the communities in which we serve, through building a quality reputation and fostering long-lasting, reciprocal relationships.
