I am a native of NC with some family roots in Durham, NC. I have been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) for 16+ years. I received degrees from both NC Central University and NC A&T State University. My background includes community mental health, vocational rehabilitation, ED behavioral health, and care management. I am very passionate about helping others and very patient-centered. I love to empower patients and advocate on their behalf.

I’m a social worker with over 30 years of experience and have worked in many different settings, including dialysis, inpatient case management, and hospice care. I’ve been with Duke Health since 2021. I enjoy getting to know patients and their families, understanding what matters most to them, and walking alongside them as they work toward their goals.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 16+ years of experience in social work, including case management and community mental health. I bring a thoughtful, personalized approach to my work, grounded in professionalism and genuine care for the clients I serve. I’m a registered nurse. My clinical experience is in orthopedics and neurosurgery. I’ve cared for patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and complex neurological conditions, focusing on post-operative care and patient education. In my previous role, I worked as a triage nurse across multiple ambulatory care specialties, such as endocrinology, urology, hematology, sickle cell, pain, infectious disease, geriatrics, keto medicine & weight loss, and primary care.

My nursing background includes behavioral health, IDD, HEDIS, medical necessity denials, and risk adjustment coding. I'm excited to be in population health, where we address patients' overall health needs and support better long-term outcomes.

I began my nursing career with Duke in 2020, working through inpatient cardiology stepdown, cardiac procedures, outpatient hospice, and community health roles. I love meeting patients and their families and believe that modern medicine is about walking with people through each season that life brings. I currently live in Raleigh with my husband and fluffy golden retriever.

Since becoming a nurse in 2009, I have worked in cardio-thoracic, perioperative services, organ transplant, and oncology. Being a nurse brings me enjoyment because of the differences I make in people’s lives and the relationships and trust I create with patients.

I have worked in many settings throughout my nursing career with focused interests in gerontological and hospice and palliative care. I have additional training and experience in public health, health and well-being, and stress management. I love partnering with patients to solve problems and help reach wellbeing goals.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years experience in care management and behavioral health treatment. I use a client-centered approach to support individuals in clarifying their values and aligning their health goals with what matters most in their lives. I work to help clients identify barriers to wellness and to develop practical, sustainable strategies for change. I love having the opportunity to empower people to live healthier, more meaningful lives.

I am a registered nurse with extensive experience in home health and health care operations, including clinical leadership, team management, and performance improvement. My background includes overseeing daily operations, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and driving quality, compliance, and patient-centered outcomes. I bring a collaborative leadership style, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to creating efficient workflows that support both patients and staff.
