I began my nursing career on a medical-surgical unit at Duke Regional Hospital (DRH), where I developed a strong clinical foundation. I later transitioned to the Cardiovascular Short Stay Unit at Duke University Hospital (DUH). The majority of my nursing career has been spent at Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center, where I have held a variety of roles. My experience includes serving as a preceptor, charge nurse, perioperative nurse, and pre-anesthesia interview nurse. In these roles, I have demonstrated a commitment to patient safety, team collaboration, and mentoring new staff while ensuring high-quality patient care.
